ALEXIS KRIEL
CO-CHAIRPERSON, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AND TREASURER
Alexis is the APWG’s Co-Chairperson, Executive Director, and Treasurer. She comes from a media background as a journalist and filmmaker. Alexis started working with pangolins in 2014 with the rehabilitation of pangolin pups in the Central African Republic. She brings production and interpersonal skills to the organisation, is proficient at grant-writing and fundraising, and remains involved with media for the organisation. Alexis was invited onto the board of the APWG in 2015 and is a member of the IUCN Pangolin Specialist Group.
