DR SEAN HEIGHTON
NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER - SCIENCE AND RESEARCH PORTFOLIO
Sean’s role involves building on the APWG’s Science and Research portfolio for contributing to evidence-based decision making and management for pangolin conservation. Sean is a passionate young scientist and conservationist, whose greatest desire is to use groundbreaking research techniques for the conservation of wildlife. Sean has spent a large part of his research career on pangolin conservation and genomics for developing tools to trace the illegal trade. He is a member of the IUCN Pangolin Specialist Group, the IUCN SSC PSG as well as Co-Chair for the Evolution & Trade Tracing Working Group.
